Pooh-getting thin?

I thought I'd post this word art today...it is sort of a companion to the quote I posted yesterday. I thought these would be great for those of us who are on diets (or, if you're like me, should be on one!). I could stand to lose about 20 pounds, myself...and as we all know, the weight loss doesn't come overnight --especially with temptations like chocolate!

Anyway, hopefully somebody out there can use this quote!

Tubby Old Bear...

OK, enough said... I think this quote says it all...

Yes, I confess, just like our friend Pooh, I have grown tubby....

I couldn't decide- again!

I couldn't decide which version of this Pooh quote to go with, so guess what... I put both in to a zip file for you! Hope you can use one of these for your pages.

(By the way---I love David Cook's new single! The winning song from the songwriting contest!)

Your Corner of the Forest

This is a sweet little quote from Winnie-the-Pooh. And you know, it really is so true. Your corner of the forest may seem safe, but you do need to get out sometimes!

Has anybody noticed the song that I have with my page these days---it is not "House at Pooh Corner", but it is "RETURN to Pooh Corner". It is a revisiting of sorts to the original song, and I love the newer endiing!

Another Mother's Day freebie!

I was reminded of this quote today, and I couldn't resist making it into a wordart to put up today! Too funny! Anyway, have fun with this one!

Happy Mother's Day!

I'm suspending Pooh for just one day, to wish all the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day! Today's quote comes from Harriet Beecher Stowe. If you recall, she is the author of "Uncle Tom's Cabin". The words "Mothers" and "philosophers" are done using the font Pea Jenny Roman, which is one of the new fonts (last month!) at Fonts for Peas. (http://www.kevinandamanda.com/scrapbook/fonts/)

Piglet's Turn!

Ok, so we can't have Pooh on every quote! This one from Piglet was just too darn cute to pass up! Again, you will get both quotes in one zip file.

Getting ready for Mother's Day?

Ok, what mother has not received a beautiful bouquet of dandilions from a chubby little fist and a tiny voice that says, "Look what I picked for you, Mommy!" Maybe you or someone you know will get one of these bundles of love for Mother's Day this year...anyway, here are some words of wisdom regarding these "weeds", from none other than our good friend, Pooh.

Here is the download link

Oh, by the way...be sure to stop by Songbird Avenue (http://www.songbirdavenue.com/index.php)
and check out their charity kit this month--the charity this month is the Susan G Komen Foundation and the collaboration kit for this is beautiful!

Promises

This is such a sweet little quote from the Winnie-the-Pooh collection! I liked it so much, I actually made 3 versions and put them into one zip file for you. The first version is the one you see right here, the second version is a plain version of the first one. The third version is a longer version of the same quote, with more context to it.

Forever...

Another Pooh quote! Hope you like this one.
